Meet the Lambs at Bates Farm!
Spring is nearly here, and we can’t wait to welcome our newborn lambs onto the farm! We’ll be back hosting our ‘Meet the Lambs’ event at the beginning of March.

Please read carefully before booking your visit
Arrive Early
We suggest arriving at the farm 10 minutes early, to allow enough time to park up, get your wellies & layers on. This ensures that we can start the session on the hour and everyone gets the most of it.
Bottle Feeding
Please note there will be no bottle feeding in the session. We work hard to make sure that the lambs are fed by their Mum, as this is more natural and healthier for them.
No Dogs Please
Pregnant Women
We advise that pregnant women do not come to the farm during lambing season. There is a risk that coming into contact with sheep and lambs during pregnancy may cause health complications. You can read more from the NHS website here.
Wellies
We recommend wearing wellies or walking boots as the farm is muddy in places.
