Weโre the Wilshaw family. Weโre a family of farmers and have been here at Bates Farm in Warrington for nearly 70 years.ย
On the farm, we have beef, sheep, turkeys, pigs, arable crops and plenty of tractors. As well as farming, we also host seasonal events throughout the year, giving the public an insight into farm life.ย
We are perfectly located between Manchester and Liverpool, easily accessible from the M6 and M62.ย

Farming is not just a job, but a way of life. Rain or shine, we farm everyday. Feeding the animals and farming the land to help feed the nation. We have a passion for educating others about where our food comes from and bridging the divide between town and country.
As a farmer, youโre more than just a farmer. But a vet, engineer, business owner, problem solver, piglet scratcher and gate opener!ย
