Bates Farm is a family run business. We farm approximately 260 acres of land near Warrington in Cheshire, producing corn, grass and hay to feed the animals.
We have 270 bulls which are reared to produce beef. We have 140 ewes which lamb from the end of January to March. We also rear 2000 turkeys.
We offer traditionally butchered meat for modern living. We hope that by providing a locally unique, direct selling approach, we will reaffirm your confidence in the British meat industry - & enhance your enjoyment of eating thoughtfully reared, fully traceable & carefully prepared meat.
Last year Alison and Fiona offered Vegetable box orders freshly prepared for collection with your turkey. They had so much fun getting their hands dirty that they will be back again this year. There will be a limited selection of fresh vegetables on the day, but to avoid disappointment, boxes can be pre-ordered.
